Lift for Lifelites tour

On Friday 5th May Simone Enefer-Doy, the chief executive of Lifelites began a 2,500 mile journey to visit 47 famous landmarks in England & Wales in just 14 days. Simone undertook this challenge in order to raise awareness of Lifelites who donate and maintain assistive technology for children in hospices and is hoping to raise £50,000 for the cause.

Simone’s first stop was Middlesex, and she arrived from Freemason’s Hall in a London Taxi arranged my Metropolitan Grand Lodge. After a last minute change, the next meeting point was Richmond Park, where she was met by a delegation led by APGM W.Bro. Nigel Codron SGD. Nigel was delighted to be able to present Simone with a cheque for £2,000 to help inch closer to that £50,000 target. £1,000 was generously donated by each of the Middlesex Masonic Charity and the Middlesex Province Relief Chest.

Nigel added “We’re delighted to support the great work that Lifelites do to help thousands of sick children across the British Isles and have donated a further £2,000 today to Simone on her “Lift for Lifelites” tour.”

Simone was then whisked off in style in a Porsche 550 Spyder by Bro Daniel Graham to meet the Surrey Freemasons at Guildford Cathedral.
